Bidor's Pun Chun

I always forget how to spell this place's name a lot but this is the place that i must travel to whenever i am on way up north to Penang or Ipoh.

Introducing a one of my favorite location whenever i come this small town  call Bidor.  Pun Chun( see what i mean). a small coffee shop located on the main road of bidor that serve really good food and as well as the some souvenir you can buy . Weather you are going up north or down south , this is one of the "rest"stop in Perak you must stop



So for the Ipoh trip i stop by here to Breakfast for this is the best place to have it as i really enjoy to food and people here. Nice People and have nice chatty people to chat with you whenever you just want to chats.

One of the best food here is the Duck Noodles . Always always it a MUST when i come here. The noodles are tangy and not mix so u can have it dry or soup(i prefer it to be dry ) and it's your wantan noodles. Than the highlight is the the soup it comes with .. shucks i am drooling now. Duck that is cooked with herbal soup .. Man i think i can even have 2 or 3 bowls heheheh. i have tried some of this so called duck noodles in KL,  but nothing comes close to this one. Of course the taste was not like what i had whenever i was in younger days (yes i am Old). but it still better than most of the ones i have in KL






and to this place also have a great snack as well if you not looking for something heavy like that as well. Wu kok or Yam puff is another thing that you MUST try here as well, i had 2 but when i wanted to have a 2nd round , there are sold out ! ahve to wait  until afternoon  i was like sob sob . but anyway you can always go back since its only 1 hour plus drive from KL.....


and to top it up souvenir that u must get here is the sak kei ma and chicken biscuit which is one of the chinese delicacy that you must get whenever you're here . The best of all the price is not expensive and it makes a good gift for friends and family . Beside that they also have a lot of things there are selling !

  
In the end , this place still have a big place in my heart. This was one of the first few places i came with my late father for his work and as well as food. I sometimes do miss those time... So for me whenever i go up north, this is the place i will come to ! Bidor you Guys rocks !

  Dear 2022, It’s been a very turbulent year, a year which had so many memories that make me want cry both in the life as a corporate guy, family life and as well church life. A time to really reflect on what was the huge difference compared to what really happen. Started 2022 with a lot of people call a very mediocre beginning, a beginning like just normal every year. Since pandemic hit Malaysia, we all still were like reeling in the huge effect that it has cause. So I have a chance to “date” with my one of my best friend and kaki for a good meal together. It’s been a long time since we went out for a good meal and enjoy the chit chat with one another.
