It's been such a long time since I had time to write. Been such a long time since I wrote about food on this blog. just a quick update, been busy with so many works and as well writing for selected mags across the world about Malaysian food and its glory. so haven’t the time to write about it here. so that is all about update.

Hong Ngek, A place I have not been for long time for good food in downtown. food still the same authentic and nice and of course delicious. Old school style Chinese food with old school taste. This is something we all have been longing for.

Located in the Jalan Tun H.S. Lee in the city center of Kuala Lumpur, Hong Ngek have been in this place for a more then 20 years. I still remember when I was in school, that time coming here to eat with my friends and family members. now in this place next to a major roadway that I nowadays drive back from work .

A Hokkien restaurant in a traditional Chinese shophouse that is a piece of living history is their tagline of intro. What I like about this place , it’s still bring me the old nostalgic old school coffee house with good food . stairs up to our table is still as steep as usual .

 

 

 

 

 







 

 

 

Overall, Love the food, the atmosphere, and the vibes when u have it with some many people. The food is still as good as last time I ate there. always always love the best . Only Bummer , Parking is hazardous for health , no parking avaliable to need to park a bit further and walk over . road is very jam . other than those , this is the place to go to for a local style food in City Centre

  Dear 2022, It’s been a very turbulent year, a year which had so many memories that make me want cry both in the life as a corporate guy, family life and as well church life. A time to really reflect on what was the huge difference compared to what really happen. Started 2022 with a lot of people call a very mediocre beginning, a beginning like just normal every year. Since pandemic hit Malaysia, we all still were like reeling in the huge effect that it has cause. Celebrations were mostly mooted due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, however still go on with CNY was near. 2022 was also a year where I was mostly every Sunday without fail was still in church hanging on and doing more and more responsibility in church. So I have a chance to “date” with my one of my best friend and kaki for a good meal together. It’s been a long time since we went out for a good meal and enjoy the chit chat with one another. Been so busy and as well as helping out friends and as well as writing for different plat forms and of course my own job with take a bit more of the my time as well.
