Pasar Malam A Culture just For Malaysia

Pasar malam or night market …. Something which hold a special place in my heart . for someone like me who loves to eat , the best place, cheapest and as well the best food to find is always at the Pasar Malam. Well this is my second posting about the ever famous Pasar Malam in Malaysia.

Being a Malaysian ( and Proud of it ) is that Pasar malam are places which I basically grow up and see some many variety of foods for one to savour, From simple drinks like Soyabeans till more complex food like smelly tofu or even Assam Laksa, one thing for sure is that , Pasar Malam hold a lots of food that is so diversified and hold the term  1Malaysia very well. A place which caters for all walks of life and as well a different races.

For being a someone who is staying in Chinese Populated area, Pasar Malam of course will be more likely be Chinese Oriented food and stuff that its have. Like Brickfields for Indians and Kampung Baru for Malay’s , Pasar Malam is the only place where all 3 races (some other minority but still Malaysians) can conjour and still chat about politics and other stuff…. Hehehehehe me guilty as charge but the best of all is that no matter how we chat and discuss, We always have some happy and angry moments but when we meet again, the following week, everything is reset

In Conclusions, the Pasar Malam, is something that I can say proud of being Malaysian ! No matter how different in skin colours, language , or even understanding , Pasar Malam shows to us it’s diversity  and cultures that is different from the world. For me the best way to learn about a Malaysia, Start with pasar Malam, It’s the best way to learn about Malaysia and I proud of it . Dear 2022

  Dear 2022, It’s been a very turbulent year, a year which had so many memories that make me want cry both in the life as a corporate guy, family life and as well church life. A time to really reflect on what was the huge difference compared to what really happen. Started 2022 with a lot of people call a very mediocre beginning, a beginning like just normal every year. Since pandemic hit Malaysia, we all still were like reeling in the huge effect that it has cause. Celebrations were mostly mooted due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, however still go on with CNY was near. 2022 was also a year where I was mostly every Sunday without fail was still in church hanging on and doing more and more responsibility in church. So I have a chance to “date” with my one of my best friend and kaki for a good meal together. It’s been a long time since we went out for a good meal and enjoy the chit chat with one another. Been so busy and as well as helping out friends and as well as writing for different plat forms and of course my own job with take a bit more of the my time as well.
